Right now you may be saying, "WHHHHAAATTT??" Yeshuapolooza is a 6 band concert extravaganza that our student organization puts on every year. This year will be the 10th year, so we're really going "all out" for it! There's going to be
6 Live Bands - Hog Roast - Henna Tattoos - Full-on Coffeehouse - Live Radio Interviews
and much more!
The coffeehouse represented is my favorite in the world, The Blind Munchies Coffeehouse and they'll be selling Mochas, espressos, fresh bakery and of course their famous sweet iced lattes (it's worth driving across the country just for those- believe me!)
So if you're from Wisconsin or Minnesota, or if you're just in the mood for a road trip, you can catch all the action at:
UW Stout, Menomonie, WI
On Sept 8th, from 2:00-10:30
Info line: 715-235-9300
The bands featured are:
Runway 36
Tom Feldman and the Get Rites
This is Luke
In overflow
Camera Can't Lie
Survive the Drive
The pictures above are from Yeshuapolooza 2005. They are pics of actual henna tattoos created that year, Mitch McVicker and his band who played that year (they were GREAT!) and one pic of the drawing table where you can sign up to win door prizes and free merchandise.
If you're thinking about coming, I encourage you to come check it out- it's a lot of fun for free!

It sounds like fun. I hope it is a huge success.
Well, now you've got me thinking, "I don't think I've ever been to Stout. And I do love me an iced latte."

I love the henna pics!
I am LOVING the Henna tattoos.....very cool! Too bad I live in the deep south...might NOT be able to make it! :)
Hope it goes great!
That does sound like fun. And mmmmm ... iced lattes (drool).
I, unfortunately, am being forced to endure a Gophers game that day and will not be able to attend. But it definitely sounds like a blast!
What summer fun! Thanks for the reminder of henna in the summer. I like to create on my body and friends' - think I'll go mix some up! Hope you are well...
Sounds interesting and huge fun.
Hope you have every success with the concert and fair.
I love the henna tatoo's.
If I was living in your area, I would be there in a heart beat. Sounds like an amazing time. Our church just had an event that sounds similar to yours. We call it the fall kick off. We had all kinds of things happening for the kids and rock groups for the teens , then a gospel group for the older folk. We even had a hog roast and ended the evening with fire works. Was a nice time.
